E949 ELOG access from machines outside of bnl.gov

From outside the domain bnl.gov, you can access ELOG through bnlku28.  Click here
This gives you full access to the ELOG but not to History information.

You can also access the primary MIDAS information, including ELOG and History
by tunnelling your browser to bnlku33 via ssh. You have to do the following.

• Sign on to the gateway machines (bnlku28.phy.bnl.gov or gateway.phy.bnl.gov) via ssh
• with port forwarding (using the -L option in ssh: -L localport:remotemachine:remoteport)

• Example: >ssh username@gateway.phy.bnl.gov -L 8000:bnlku33:8081

 
• From your browser, open page at http://localhost:localport

• Example: http://localhost:8000
