We discuss techniques and results of a recent global QCD analysis of the
nucleon's spin-dependent parton distributions from data for polarized
deep-inelastic scattering and polarized pp collisions at RHIC. We also
discuss some aspects of the physics program with W bosons presently
underway at RHIC.
