Installing RedHat Linux

So you want to install RedHat linux. There are two ways of doing this.

  1. BUY IT!
    The recomended method is to call Beth at the CCD Software Store x4127 and have her order it for you. It Costs $50 and comes with a comercial X11 server and a couple of comercial web browsers, (and that does *not* include Netscape). Its a CD install and should take all of about 20 minutes to get it up and running with the help of its paper back users guide.
  2. Network Installation
    If you don't have the $50 to buy the CD, then you can install it over the network. Click here for the latest instructions on how to proceed with this installation. Warning! You only get the standard RedHat distribution. There is no commercial X server or web browser which you get when you order the CD from RedHat.
