The g-2 Cryogenic News

The g-2 Refrigerator with the newly modified liquid nitrogen heat exchanger
began to run at 10:00 AM this morrning.  The running system includes the 
helium gas supply system, two compresors, refrigerator cold box, liquid 
nitrogen heat exchanger, control dewar.  The three solenoid cryostats are
isolated out from cooling.  The current plan is to run the system through the
weekend around the clock, because the vacuum in three cryostats is going to be
spoiled by Monday morning for repairing the leaks in cryostats.  Since there
is not going to have the beam test tonight for the g-2, the cryo-watches will
not be locked out by the security doors in the g-2 cryo area.
