The initial target commissioning is complete.  We cannot start the secondary
beam commissioning until Tuesday, however.   The beamline was set up with a 
new RHIC security system, which is not ready.  We are scrambling to provide
AGS chipmonks, interlocks, and gate switches.  (We did this for the proton
beam already.)  There are a series of "fault" studies that will need to be
completed before we can bring beam to the ring.  (The last dipoles which select
the muons or pions will be locked off until these are complete.  We expect
that the ring will be open during these tests, pending a survey.)  My best
guess as to getting beam to the ring would be the next weekend--May 25.
