Running the e852 DAQ to collect e891 data
DAQ is run on mpsdaq.ags.bnl.gov, under the e891 account. Any xterminal,
anywhere, can be used to run and control DAQ; however, the xterminal in the MPS
control room, on the central desk, is the only one that should be used to run and
control DAQ during a data-taking period, when real beam is coming down the line.
There are several starting points in running DAQ. These are listed in
order of likelihood of occurance. Select the one that most closely resembles your
current condition:
