The Physics Department web server provides the following:

Web Space for Individuals

Individual web pages will show up as:

 http://www.phy.bnl.gov/~username/

Group Web Space

Groups can set up web space in a number of ways:

• A group user account
• Through a virtual domain served from local server disks
• From a hard coded path under http://www.phy.bnl.gov/.

The latter two options can be implemented using local server disks (space willing) or by using the main server as a reverse proxy for the user's/group's own internal system. This gives the user/group complete control of the web content while not requiring their own firewall conduits.
