AGS-2000 Logistics


	The Workshop will be centered in Physics (Bldg 510), to a
lesser extent in the physically contiguous CCD building (515).  A few
working groups may have meeting rooms in other BNL buildings.  Coffee
and refreshments will be available every morning and afternoon in the
lounge adjacent to the Phyics Large Seminar Auditorium.  This lounge
will serve as a center for the Workshop, and a secretary will be
posted there throughout the week.  Her telephone number will be
(516)344-3873.  A message board will also be maintained there.

	Each working group will be assigned a room.  These will be
various meeting and conference rooms around the building.  Some of the
smaller groups which have BNL Physics members will meet in offices.
Final assignments of rooms will be done as late as possible to
optimize the available space with respect to the size of the groups.

	Computing facilities will be available in Rooms 2-84 (10 stations
plus 2 networked printers),  1-95 (10 stations and a networked printer)
and 1-240 (2+ stations).  There will also be a couple of stations in the
Physics Seminar Lounge.  Convenience accounts with the name AGS2000 
have been established on the physics department computer cluster (physgi01
et al.) and the AGS VAX (BNLDAG).  Individual accounts can be set up on 
these systems for those who need them.

	Access to the Physics Library out of working hours will be 
arranged.  There will be one access card for each working group.
