The world watches, as the startup of the LHC nears. The LHCb
experiment at the LHC is poised to search for New Physics through its
influence in bottom and charm quark decays. The speaker will introduce
the LHCb experiment, discuss some of the key measurements, and present
the current status of the experiment.
